World-renowned recording artist, performer, educator and music therapist, and founder and director of Shir Fun, a Hebrew music-based early childhood education and development program, Dafna’s albums and performances are consistent with her belief that nobody is too young or too old to enjoy good music, authentic language and culture. This approach has catapulted to her to the forefront of the international Hebrew music scene.

Growing up in a moshav on Israel’s Mediterranean coast, she learned to play the guitar from her father at an early age. After her service in the Israeli army, Dafna attended university in the U.S, obtaining a degree in music therapy.

In addition to being a celebrated performer and recording artist, Dafna is known for harnessing the transcendent powers of music as a board certified music therapist and educator.
